Other responsibilities include: Reporting on fundraising and development progress at meetings of the full Board of Directors Working collaboratively with all staff members (particularly with the Executive Director, Director of Marketing, Box Office/Subscriptions Manager and Comptroller) Attending concerts He/she will report to The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia Executive Director. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience, either professional or voluntary, raising funds for a non-profit organization; proven experience in the design and management of development programs; a track record of developing and maintaining productive working relationships with board members, volunteers, staff and donors; excellent verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with a wide range of grant maker databases, and other corporate, foundation, and government fund-raising resources; the ability to give and take direction; and the ability to listen.. A bachelor's degree in a related field is mandatory. This is a full time position. Salary is dependent upon experience.
