The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia Introduces New Brand Identity

The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia sports a new look for its 2004-2005 season.

Starting with a new logo - designed by Philadelphia graphic artist Leslie McGeoch-- that incorporates the sweeping curves of the Perelman Theater's entrance - the new brand identity represents a new era for The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, which began with its appointment as a Resident Company of the Kimmel Center in 2000.

The new brand identity can be found throughout the marketing materials for the 2004-2005 season, from the season brochure to print advertising to billboards on major area thoroughfares to TV advertisements to a newly-designed www.chamberorchestra.org website.

The new website, designed by Philadelphia-area web designer Charley Parker (www.cparkerdesign.com) and based upon the design concept provided by Ms. McGeoch, maintains the theme of the transformation. A brighter overall look is enhanced by a flash animation on the home page and photos of Maestro Solzhenitsyn and the Orchestra in performance and rehearsal on the interior pages. Visitors may also purchase tickets to upcoming performances and find out about the ensemble's history and how to support its continued development.

The site also features a new online store, in association with cafepress.com, which allows Chamber Orchestra fans to purchase many different items adorned with the new Chamber Orchestra logo: tote bags, coffee mugs, golf shirts, t-shirts, wall clocks and more!

A resident company of The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia performs 10 concert pairs from September through June in the intimate 600-seat Perelman Theater.
