Centocor, Inc. Sponsors "Ultimate Mozart" Concerts in Memory of Founder Hubert JP Schoemaker

The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia is pleased to announce that regional biotechnology company Centocor, Inc. will be the exclusive sponsor of its upcoming "Ultimate Mozart" celebration, a three- program, six-concert series in the Kimmel Center's intimate Perelman Theater on April 30 and May 1, May 14 and 15, and June 4 and 5, 2006. The celebration honors the memory of Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia benefactor and Centocor co-founder Hubert JP Schoemaker.

ULTIMATE MOZART
The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia takes great pleasure in participating in the worldwide festivities marking the 250th Anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart by concluding its season with three programs dedicated to the composer's final, most sophisticated works in three genres. These concerts will feature the master's final three symphonies, the overtures to his final three operas, and his final three piano concertos performed and led from the keyboard by Music Director Ignat Solzhenitsyn.
