Volunteer

The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia relies on the support given to its superb administrative staff by our cadre of capable volunteers to draw visitors to our theater, make our performances run smoothly and to make our guests artists comfortable and punctual.

Volunteers may be required to perform any number of duties in and around the theater. They are rarely able to see the entire performance, if any of it at all, nor will they often have opportunity to interact socially with Guest Artists. You will discover the workings of the backstage area and what goes in to putting on the wonderful concerts which enthrall thousands of Philadelphians annually.

On Campus volunteers are needed to spread The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia marketing materials - flyers, posters, promotional items - to the appropriate high traffic areas of their campuses. Campus volunteers will be eligible to attend concerts on a complimentary basis and may be invited to special events such as Artist receptions and Educational programs.
